Beat the shite out of Michigan. Won a national championship. Got a ring. Got what he needed and then transferred to a school where he could get more playing time.
Way more significantly, though, Jermaine Burton SERIOUSLY proved that race relations have come 1,000 miles in the last 50 years. Imagine 50 years ago, a black Alabama player clocking a white co-ed in the head and having Alabama fans rallying behind him and taking his side.

I am no fan of Jermaine's but people continue to talk about this as if he took his fist and knocked the crap out of that girl. I've seen some people talk about it and literally say he punched her. Some haven't even seen the video.
He shoved her head. Not a good look. But he wasn't trying to hurt her. Needs to control his emotions for sure and shouldn't put his hands on a man or woman like that in that situation. But people are literally talking about it like it was Ray Rice in an elevator. Not even close.
