Any legitimate smoke to this?

Other than flight trackers and the fact that he's from Lincoln, I haven't seen anything of substance.

Now, if he goes out on Saturday and gets dumpstered by BK and LSU...well

Kiffin has always wanted to play in the Big 10. He's really attracted to being in one of the most landlocked states in the US. He also loves that Lincoln single man lifestyle

Lived in Omaha for six years and have been to Lincoln a few times...Ole Miss is the better option here.

If it happened, it would be funny as hell. There's zero chance of that happening though.

Kiffin isn’t jumping ship to Nebraska. Ole Miss today is the better job

Nebraskas only hope is to get a young up and comer from a G5 school. They won’t poach a proven coach having success at any P5 school. Maybe the Kansas coach would go there but that’s about it

I don't see Nebraska ever being what Nebraska was in the 70s through 90s. Hell, they play 7 and 8 man football in many of the high schools in Nebraska. But who knows with NIL and transfer portal.

I would say the only way he takes that job is if he's making 5 more MIL a season.

Let's see leave a good job with a ranked team in the sec to go to a shithole nowhere team that has not been relevant in 20 years?

Nebraska does have aggy money to pull that off.

That would put him at $12,500,000/year, which would make him the highest paid coach in college football.

Ole Miss is a wayyyy better gig nowadays. With NIL they’ll be able to compete better and the expectations are not as crazy as Nebraska who thinks it’s still 1995.

I can’t see any decent SEC coach jumping to Nebraska at this point.
