How many more years does Kelly get to win the SEC?

LSU has to deal with Missouri and Ole Miss being better than they have ever been. Obviously Texas, Bama, and UGA will be there, but Bama with a whole new staff is probably off the table year 1.

Kelly is kind of fricked with expectations due to the state of the SEC right now.

If yall don’t want to talk football just say that, no need to keep a facade if it’s going to be this obvious.

Kelly's expectations have always been high. Historically Kelly has been a consistent winner just never been able to get over the hump. LSU wants another natty in football and I think he can get them there.

I've got a feeling that BK's days as a coach are numbered, not because LSU will fire him, but because the man is hilarious and has a future as a stand-up comic. I predict he will have a show in Vegas in a few years.

I will answer and I reserve the right to be incorrect.

Kelly is in a good situation for himself.

He won the west in year one. That didn’t buy him time, though.

The heavy contract did. I believe now the playoffs mean more than the SeC at the moment, though.

And getting to the playoffs may not happen for him in 2024 if he doesn’t get his defense sorted out.

But making the playoffs will save a coach if he’s not winning the sec.

But to answer your question,
He may not win the sec in the next two years. So he needs to do it in four. Keep in mind, that if he’s making to the semis in the yoffs, then he’s winding back the clock.

Alabama
Uga
Texas

These are the biggest hurdles.

How is a legitimate question a troll? People will literally carry on with actual troll posts and not bat an eye, but when a literal question gets asked that’s sports related, you scream “troll”.

This shite is weird man.

So being realistic makes me a non Bama fan?

I’d be pleasantly surprised if we win the SEC year 1. We obviously have the talent, but so does Ole Miss, Missouri, LSU, Georgia, and Texas.

Don’t sleep on OU beating a few teams too.

My first post was also about DeBoer and Oats and how hard it would be for DeBoer to accomplish what Oats has done.

Why can’t some Bama fans talk about other schools too without it being a troll?

Missouri is legit, and it Shrader had come back I’d of picked them to win the SEC.

in a 12 team playoff era winning the SEC is more of a side quest than a main goal.

Yep who cares if you did not win the SEC and finished 3rd but made it to the CFP semifinals

While I agree with this, is LSU’s fanbase ok with just making the playoffs if you never add any hardware?

Saban fell off a little his last 3 seasons, but he still won the SEC with one of his least talented QBs.

Milroe is basically Sims with a stronger arm.
