They came close last year with a reject at QB. I say if Mett is half as good as LSU fans are hyping him to be then this may be the year that LSU doesn't just look unbeatable but actually may be unbeatable. That's a lot of pressure to put on any QB but it is what it is. The running game should make his job easier but we'll see.

They'll find a way to screw it up and lose 1 game somewhere.

Claiborne is not going to be easy to replace...but if our defense can play as well as last year and Mett steps up we could be in the NC game again. But anything can happen.

ok ill play..sure why not? LSU's QB play has to be only marginally better then when Les decided JJ was the man again. the D line is going to be one of the best LSU has ever had, i think Anthony Johnson will be a monster this year. The LB's i aint to sure about i dont follow the practices as much as some. DB's i dont think they take a step back after mo's leaving but maybe a slight half step due to a new DB coach. Special teams and no one likes to admit it but its where you win your tight games, people like long snappers, punters, kickers and gunners are only missed when you have crappy ones and see how much they truly effect a team and we had great special teams last year. These guys really are the heart and soul of a great team in my opinion. They are usually 2 and 3 star guys who work their arse off for little to no credit. But i digress, like someone else mentioned who knows how the ball will roll this year, sometimes you get all the breaks and sometimes you gets none. And i think Les is one of the greatest coaches of all time, right up there with nick. These 2 guys are like yin and yang but excellent in their own way. I givee the advantage to miles well cuz he just claps way better then nicky

Les>then Nick..I will buy that coming from a LSU fan...Unless I am mistaken 3 trumps 1 and that should be the only thing in the discussion at the present.

LSU was its best when they didnt have a reject at qb last year. you could tell the offense wasnt quite the same once they put the reject in.

For once I will have to agree with the gump. This is the only head to head that matters with the majority of both fanbases.

Les has won 75 games in 7 of the toughest years ever in the SEC...this guy can coach. Sure, laid an egg in the NC this year...but, shite like that happens. Happened to Saban in that same building vs. Utah a few years back. He is 3-3 vs Saban...this looks like it could go down as one of the best coaching rivalries in college history, by the time its over I expect the record to be very close. Will be fun to watch.. Anyway...enough about that, I think this team could be our best ever if Mett comes through, if not we wont'...its that simple. Our secondary is ready to go...depth is looking great at Spring practice right now. Our OL depth is another story, we really don't need any of our starters on the OL to go down. Really look forward to next year...

we honestly have zero excuse for a loss next year.

this team is down right loaded and we have managed 2 losses and 1 losses with possibly the worst season by a qb ever and then the same qb taking back over.

the only team that can stay with in 2 scores of LSU is bama.

you must have missed all the posts about Petrino running the score up on us because we're playing in Fayetteville and Miles hurt his feelings last year.

Les Miles is the coach. So while LSU may very well have its best team ever next year, Miles will find a way to screw it up. See 1/9

Good, well thought-out post. An SEC title, NC game and finishing second suck. LSU should fire him.

here...you deserve one of these too

i find it humorous that these opposing fans that think Les sucks are the same ones crying in their pillow after he stomps a mudhole in their arse. Seems like bama fans are the only ones that give him any credit.
