The usual guys at the top. Well done.

Credit to UF, they expanded and have been filling their stadium much better than before.

A&M will top 6k for the first time every or at least since the shrank the ballpark (such a dumb idea that was). We're about 2-3 years from catching up.

UT is really cramming them in there for the stadium size. The renovation can't come soon enough.

Looks like OU is going to keep Mizzou company for the worst ballpark and attendance in the SEC.

Niche sport. I like that the SEC has adopted it to be their niche though.

it just means more. a team in any other conference that had a team as bad as ole miss would be lucky to be drawing 1500, yet they are still coming out at almost 10K strong.

About 3 million fans showed up at SEC ballparks last year which is more than what SEC Arenas saw this year.

3 of the top 10 are in Mississippi. That's really cool.

Also cool that two other schools nearby (LSU & Arkansas) are in the top 10 as well. None of this is new but still cool to me that this region loves college baseball so much.

Very cool.

It helps not to have Big League competition too.

That is a product of game volume.

We didn't just expand, we got a new stadium on a different part of campus that no longer has most of the fans right in the sun. Our old stadium was probably 13th in conference only ahead of Mizzou's dump.

And yet most SEC baseball programs still lose money.

Years ago, I never would have guessed Tennessee would have baseball attendance like this. When I was there, it was less than an afterthought. Love or hate Tony V, he's brought tremendous energy to the program.

Pleasantly surprised we're that high considering how horrible we are this year.

I’d rather be outside watching baseball than inside watching basketball. If I want to be inside, I’ll stay home and watch on the big screen…
FYI…I love both sports…

Exactly. Highest attendance in states with no professional options. Florida and Texas outliers but much larger populations.

I remember when Vitello left us as an assistant coach to go to Tennessee to be the HC. I thought he was crazy. Tennessee baseball was a place you went just to get fired. Tennessee baseball had no tradition, fan support, a shitty stadium. etc.

What he's done there is nothing short of miraculuous.

People can hate on him all they want, but he's a damn fine coach.
