Does TU have anyone still affiliated with the program from 20 years ago? Obviously nobody from 20 years ago is suiting up to play, the staff isn’t there anymore, and it’s doubtful the head coach is the same. But yet 20 years ago seems awful important to you.
How about 5 years? That’s reasonable for the folks playing this year. It’s within a reasonable expectation for players to be impacted, staff and coaches to still have an impact. Let’s see have the last 5 years stack up against the SEC and the bitches we are allowing in next year.

The simple fact that we’re 22 shows how bad of a metric RPI is. We have the worst defense I’ve ever watched on a baseball field.

I think ELO is a better representation of how good teams actually are so I like it for early season but since RPI actually matters for tournament selection I switch to that after the first month or so

State played a terrible nonconference schedule and then doubled down by losing several of those games. So the RPI stinks in spite of the good SEC record. Probably almost zero chance of hosting and need to finish with 15+ SEC wins just to make the NCAAT.

Yea Not impressed with A$m's OOC, they literally haven't played a ranked OC team yet their RPI is 1, come on man.

Get mad at the math.
Arkansas played 2 and split them. Then in conference, you've played two ranked opponents and split the series.
At least A&M has beaten 3 ranked opponents in a series (2 on the road, 1 sweep).

Tennessee had the capability to match Texas anything they offer him.
