I beg to differ on that one.
LSU has a pretty campus, but Ole Miss has a gorgeous campus.

What separates pretty from gorgeous? Red metal roofs?

I think a beautiful campus is a very subjective thing so its kinda hard to argue it.

I like the old southern look at Ole Miss, but I don't think it would look at home on the hill in Fayetteville.

LSU's campus is beautiful as well and I like how both keep a theme.

Arkansas's campus beauty has more to do with its vistas and setting than an architectural style. I used to wish the Arkansas campus was more uniform, and keeping a theme, but as I have gotten older I appreciate the varied style of architecture at the school.

There is Old Main, very old, very cool, then a mess of gothic style buildings from the 30s and 40s, and some very modern buildings as well.

Seeing cool towns and cool campuses just make me even happier to be in the SEC. At least none of the campuses are as FUGLY as Texas A&M.

1963.The last time that putrid town was relevant. It is a relic, not a town. It is the only city in America where the straight men are arguably as color-cordinated as the women.

Baton Rouge shits out little chunks every day that have more "charm" than that uber- materialistic, self-consiously-preening, aristocratic- wannabe-redneck filled burp of a city.

Besides that, it's great.

No I don't see "Real Beauty" I see a small quaint
southern Campus and not one particular thing is unusual or special in either architecture or a unique or special theme on Campus. ie (Auburn, LSU, Alabama, Georgia Vanderbilt and even Tenn.

So beauty is definately in the eye of the beholder I would say.........

That tour was almost as much fun as a trip to the protoligist.
