If he is going to go CO/DC Corners. Maybe he should give Corey Raymond a shot.
The guy can recruit and is one of the best DB Coaches in college football. He has been waiting for someone to give him a Chance at DC.

[img]On Tuesday night, Lomas Brown will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame at the The National Football Foundation Annual Awards Dinner at the ARIA Resort & Casino Las Vegas.
With tonight’s induction, Brown becomes the the ninth Florida player to enter the College Football Hall of Fame.
Brown was selected to be in the 2020 College Football Hall of Fame class, but has yet to be inducted. The COVID-19 pandemic postponed the 2020 College Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Tuesday’s event will feature the induction of the 2020 and 2021 College Football Hall of Fame classes.

That's fine I guess...Was really kind hoping he'd find a place for C Rob, kids seem to like him and he was the lead recruiter on quite a few of our remaining targets.

Yeah, I tend to agree with that too...It's just, and believe me I trust Nape more than anyone, I'm looking at this obliterated class and trying to find any low risk way to salvage it...I know what Nape said, and I trust and believe in him, but a class in the 40's or 50's, even with the portal, is gonna cause some issues...But I'm not gonna let it get me down, I trust in Nape at the end of the day.

Burn it all down and start over. We've never done that since I've been a Gator. Hell, going back to when Muschamp was hired, from what I understand, Charlie Weiss was picked for him based on Foley and maybe even Meyer thinking he needed a name at OC. Whether that is explicitly true or not, I think it at least indicates that there was a view in the admin to not change TOO much.
As cliché as the money quote has become, it does fit. This guy is going all in, slow playing recruiting, blowing off players, telling us we may sign no one, and filling his staff deliberately. It's obvious that he's conceding early signing to get good coaches.
I think he's also smart enough to know that if this doesn't start bearing fruit by 2023, a lot of people who are going with it for now are going to start questioning his approach.
I actually like it. It's a ballsy move, and it's the move if you really think you can pull it off. To become a machine, the program needs it.
The vision is there, the question is if he's the guy who can do more than just see it but also do it.

No doubt...I truly believe in this approach at the end of the day, he's stripping this thing down to the earth and rebuilding from the foundation up...It's not going to be a quick fix, it's gonna be a forever fix.
