Oats is a madman. Our Q1/2 win-loss record is just going to be our overall win-loss record.

Oats is definitely not afraid of competition, .
The constant exposure of playing these top programs really seems to be paying off in building this program’s mental toughness and confidence. Last years team didn’t seem to be intimidated by playing anyone.

We have a top 3 strength of schedule and a top 3 offense every year. What could be more fun?

Do yall remember about when last year season tix went on sell? I almost got them last year but my wife vetoed me.

This year I’m risking the divorce.

season tix renewal info was around the 2nd week (july 11th) of July last year and due back in early August I think. I think new season ticket holder offer was later in August?

It’s worth the gamble. I’ve had season tickets before marriage and through 35 years of marriage. She used to go too. Now I think she is happy just to get me out of the house.

Alabama has jumped from +2200(when I recommended this was good value a few weeks ago based on what we suspected would happen) to +1200.

All you’re looking for as a gambler is odds you think are off and +2200 was definitely off. Lots of ways to hedge out of that later.

I can’t recommend taking it at +1200

She makes a lot more money than me and is significantly more attractive.

But I’m funny and charming so I get away with a lot more than I should

Coach cal with a bold strategy in the transfer portal.

Ok with taking 8-10 guys and calling it a team.

His response why get a full team if they are only going to transfer after one year.

How do you feel about that? Cal is at the stage of his career where he’s just throwing out new stuff.

Hes not wrong.

While I would like more depth, Why waste time/energy/money on players 10-13?

Well, Arkansas had no players returning and I think lost most if not all recruits, so that means portal.

I wonder if we'll see football strategies like this. The NFL plays 17+ games with a 55 man roster. Similar to Cal having 8-10 players, it would be a lot easier to spread NIL money across 60 players rather than 85.

Maybe 10-11. But only 8 sounds like a recipe for disaster. It's a long, physical season.

He got that Kentucky whistle for so long he has forgotten that the rest of us are familiar with the regularity of "foul trouble" in Sec road games.
