how old are you? bama doesn't win the conference 99% of the time. take away the bear and saban they pretty much have been middle of the pack.

now, you guys in basketball have been much more dominating. but not 99%.

I understand your need to crow tho. your state has lots of horses and great bourbon also. and y'all have the Kentucky headhunters and their fans are really scarey 100%of the time.

We've won the SEC 31% of the time and have finished near the top a lot of other times. Even if you take away the 35 years under Saban and Bryant, we were very good in the 20's, 30's, 40's, and 90's.

What a stupid fricking statement! Alabama has had FIVE coaches who have won national championships and only TWO decades (50s and 80s) in a 100 years that didn't have national championships in them.

Describe "middle of the pack".

I guess if you take away 75 years of our history, you can say we've been middle of the pack.

Great logic

Take away the two best coaches in a school's program and they are middle of the pack, very shocking

Yeah I imagine, if you take away 18 conference titles and 10 national titles from most schools, they probably wouldn't look like tGOAT.

Take away Saban and Miles, and L6U is basically a Sun Belt school.

You are better than this

Wallace Wade was over 80% wins
Frank Thomas was over 80% wins

Both of these compare well with Bear and Nick

85.8% = Bear Bryant
84.2% = Nick Saban
81.2% = Wallace Wade (3 MNC's)
81.2% = Frank Thomas (2 MNC's)

After that you have an overall history over .500 with only Shula as a dog (for Bama coaches after WW II who were there for multiple full seasons.

72.2% = Bill Curry
71.3% = Gene Stallings (1 MNC)
68.0% = Dennis Franchione
67.7% = Ray Perkins
64.6% = Harold Drew
51.0% = Mike DuBose
