Not sure about bama at #1....obviously they are primed and ready for the most immediate succes, but if we're using the quote above as our big factor, whateer coach comes in after Saban is gonna have it reeeeeal rough the first time he loses 2 games. I mean, if you go 3 seasons in a row without winning the SEC he'd probably be fired. Is that really desirable for a new guy?

Keep in mind I'm not bashing bama at all, I'm just using SDS's own quote to generate some discussion.

I think they are mainly just looking at the talent that would be in place. The ranking makes more sense when it is looked at that way.
