What the frick is there to melt about? Our program is in fricking free fall. This year will be nothing more than a postponement for Gus' firing.
I was being facetious, but you just had a sweet arse melt. Thanks.

Hire Paul Rhoads for cheap and be done with it

Retread former coordinators don't seem to be the best candidates for us lately

Al.com says to expect a hire by the end of the week.

Last time Rhodes came here we had a HC on the hot seat and it ended with the entire staff being fired. Would he put himself and his family in that situation again?
On the flip side, the D played well that year (2008) for the most part. Only the Alabama game was a blow out but the team had clearly given up by then. I remember early in the season Tubs being asked his impressions of his new DC and his reply was something like "Well, he's got the hollerin' part down." lol

Manny Diaz is a great coordinator. Want.

The fact we even contacted Grantham is depressing.

The fact we don't have someone by now is embarrassing and Gus says he happy with the way the search is going. Unless Gus has someone good waiting on their teams season to end then it's going to look real bad if we roll out a promoted position coach or no name with average results.

I'm sorry, but I want to see that melt, so I want it to happen.

Lord. For the record: I refuse to believe this.

From JGT
quote:
Malzahn and Roof worked together for three seasons ('09, '10 and '11) ... and worked well together.
We're told Malzahn's initial impression was that Roof wasn't interested in leaving his alma mater, but either Roof's feelings changed or Malzahn misinterpreted things. Either way, Roof is a real possibility here at this stage.

This board is horrible. Everyone whines all the time. Constant melts or constant - doomsday. Newsflash- you aren't cool and in the know when you repeat bama message board threads about AU
