I feel like here he has a bad reputation on this site, and whether it is justified or not, I personally have no idea. So not a flame thread, just curious who here really listens to him and values his opinion, or on the other side who wipes their arse with his opinion and flushes it away. TIA

I used to listen every now and then when I lived in auburn. It's good for comedy and that's about it.

Finebaum is the Jerry Springer of radio. Hes made his name/show on exploiting the lowest common denominator and being as outrageous as he possibly can be

I'm not hating. Kudos to him for finding something that works, but it's low budget reality TV. Some people like this type of stuff, I personally do not.

I do wish like hell it wasn't on the SEC network though. It really doesn't have a place there.

He made a lot of sense until I realized the tv was on mute.

Paul should be a guest on Howard Stern.

I don't mind Paul.

But listening to people call in makes me want to blow my pumpkin head off.

I sure as hell don't value his opinion, but I do listen to him occasionally because when sports talk radio in Chicago actually mentions some college football, the discussions are so misinformed and ignorant, they might as well be talking about cricket.

Ironically, one show has Gerry DiNardo on for a segment every week and that's probably the most in-depth college football talk you'll get.

Finebaum is OK but I hate all his dumb arse callers. I DVR the show and jump through it for interviews of interest. Paul is about a mile up Nicky's arse but he has some smarts.

Let's compare him to all of the other pundits right now. It takes about half a second to realize that most of them are awful, and Finebaum is probably the best of that sorry lot.

When the rumors started about our entry into the SEC, I listened almost daily. Today, not so much. Apparently someone in charge thinks those strange regulars that he has on his show are adding value to the show. After listening to them more that twice I wonder if they are real or fake. Are there really people that talk and act like that in real life? If they are real, lord help us.

I get my college sports information on Sirius 91.

To those that like him, what am I missing?

He's OK, better than nothing; watched him yesterday for the 1st time in months.

DESTIN Beaches in the background was the best part of the show.

There's no doubt he's still a bit of a disappointment to his father. But considering he's the bastard child of Skelator and a Waffle House waitress, he's made a damn good living for himself.

His show was better when it wasn't national. In fact, it was at its best when it was just local to Birmingham. It has lost most of its charm for me over the years.

I listen serially, but am not a regular listener by any stretch. I imagine I will listen every day once SEC media days comes around.
