The rationale is that it looks good to recruits, but it is sad imo. I have been to all the SECCGs we've lost and nothing about that should be celebrated.

It isn't the loss in Atlanta being celebrated. Its the season your team had in order to get there.

We don't hang a banner in Williams-Brice for getting our shite pushed in by Auburn in 2010, we hang a banner in recognition of a successful season that allowed us to get there. That's why there is a separate, more distinguished trophy given out for winning that game.
