Buzz Williams extended through 2028. Not sure how I feel about that, I like Buzz but man these long contracts/extensions are really annoying.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I don’t wanna talk with the Longhorn board admins during rivalry week to keep it somewhat civil-ish, because shite is definitely hitting the fan

Our athletics department is first in the nation at getting fleeced by mediocre coaches.

0 SEC Championships and 0 Tourney wins, and our brightest idea is to extend him lol

This is exactly what they did. Lost in all of this nonsense is the fact that we forced their hand to come.
People laugh that A&M couldn't stop UT from joining. But I laugh at the fact that we forced them to abandon the conference they ran for over 25 years. Aggy in the SEC was a problem for UT and UT needed to neutralize that. They left a conference where they picked their own refs, made their own conference schedule, made more TV money than the competition, out-recruited everyone, and made rules to protect them (no horns down allowed was a pussy move ).
But because of their envy and insecurity of Aggy, they gave it all up .

All of this. I’m also excited about the SEC getting a firsthand view of sip nonsense and how terrible of a cultural fit this is. The rest of the SEC ate up anything negative texas fans had to say because of their own sour grapes, but they’ll find out real fast that the horns are actually everything bad that was projected on to us.

Plain and simple, the SEC is a lifeline to Texas that gives them a regular seat at the table. The SEC threw them a lifeline. I don't remember, did Texas fans make fun of A&M when we moved to the SEC?
I had a co-worker who went to OU tell me in 2012 OU would likely feel more at home in the cerebral, academically superior Pac 12.

How about the LS on the all USFL team, Vinny Papale, the son of Mr. "Invincible?"

Leon O’Neal Jr is suspended indefinitely from the indoor football league for jumping in the stands during a game and getting into it with some fans.

I’m kind of surprised it took this long for players to fight fans in the stands in IFL. Players end up flying into fans on the boards pretty frequently.

I assume you were just making a general comment about fans sometimes flying into the seats because of the closeness of the action. That's a very true statement (I had a player land on me once), but in this instance, O'Neal went from getting pancaked on the field to going into the stands to confront a fan.
Not sure what the fan said/did, but O'Neal definitely showed poor judgment in escalating the situation.

You are correct. I didn't look at the video. It was just more of a general statement. There aren't many sports leagues where you can get so close to the players you can touch them.

I'm pretty sure if you're going to the IFL you're gonna need to take extra precautions - so close to the actual field and the players doesn't mix well.

I have officially reached the age where I’m still trying to hold on to my “athletic career” and have joined a men’s softball league. Smh
