Auburn held that vaunted Alabama offense to 28 points just fine. Take away a poor angle on a "miracle" 99 yard touchdown pass and we only allowed 3 touchdown drives.

500+ yards
FSU kicker doesn't miss
So, if Bama doesn't score on that 99 yard td, they don't score on that drive? Thank Miss Cleo
Get ready for more poor angles and missed tackles. It happens to everyone against FSU WRs.

We stuffed Georgia - who runs a very similar offense to Florida State - for three quarters just fine.

A football game is four quarters, and FSU>>>>>>>>>> that UGA team that you needed that ridiculous miracle to beat.
quote:

We may not have an iron curtain, but I like us to keep Florida State under 30 points. Our running game slashes and dashes everyone including a Nick Saban defense that was dominating opposing run games.

You won't hold them to under 30.
Your defense sucks.
FSU's d line matches up better against your run game than Bama's.

No. Fsu is the one with the good defense

FSU resembles what most would consider a successful SEC squad.

Balance on offense, with a power running game.
Awesome defense..... Big, fast, athletic, great tacklers

AU, OTOH, well they run a one dimensional spread offense, and their defense sucks.

This one wont be pretty.

Has FSU faced anything even close to similar to AU's offense this season?

I'll go ahead and book mark this post.

The same shite has been said for months on this site. You sound just as lame as all those other posters guaranteeing victory and blowouts earlier this year.

Absolutely not, but that doesn't matter to the Karate Kid here. FSU will shut AU out, and crush them 56-0.

No.

Only team who had a decent run game was Boston College who put up 200 yards rushing and 34 points.

I'd say Auburn's defense is about on par with the majority of the teams they faced, except we can control the ground and put up a good amount of points.

Should be a good game.

That is pretty telling, IMO.

Auburn has a good pass rush which will make Winston uncomfortable in the pocket. I could see him throwing a pick or two.

And their competition really brought that out? Every year there's a team from a conference with no competition that looks completely unbeatable, and when they face the SEC they suck.

I think the lead up and hype remind me more of 96 Fiesta Bowl between UF and Nebraska. Youtube has Corso saying the same stuff being said about UF stopping Nebraskas rushing game as people say of FSU stopping Auburn. Just put nine guys in the box and you'll win.

Good Lord there is a whole bunch of retard in this thread.

Mostly from Auburn and Bama fans.

It's like none of you have cable TV down there and never saw FSU play...completely dismissive and ignorant.

You just shrugged off the Clemson game as a fluke and an overrated occurrence...and Clemson really brought it when they played an SEC team...how do you say - "they got up for that game against USCe" eh?...and then you just heard...ACC and Duke and Boston College and went off...back to Verne and Gary...chuckling about lame football outside of the SEC...and paying no mind to Winston and Co...just another Notre Dame IYO.

Has Auburn peaked? I am sure they have not. Just how good can they be with 4 weeks to dial everything in?

I would worry more about FSU having 4 weeks to prepare for AU's offense. See 2010 AU/Oregon defensive struggle.

100% due to the slippery field conditions.

You are dramatic as frick and paint every post to make it seem like FSU is completely unbeatable and Auburn has lost 7 games. Do yourself a favor and just watch the game and save the dramatic, over the top posts for little girls.

Over the top is the amount of Auburn fans predicting a win.

Thanks for sharing this awesome argument in support of your opinion that AU will win.

You guys really provide insightful analysis.

Hell no.

1992 Bama = Arguably the greatest college football defense to ever step on the football field
2013 Auburn = Porous defense that gave up 35 points to LSU, 41 points to Aggy, 38 points to Georgia and 42 points to Missouri and ranks 90th in total defense

The argument is that stats have been posted over and over to support the argument that Auburn will lose numerous games this year and they keep proving everyone wrong. So like I posted before, let the game play out and save the dramatics for little girls.

Your analysis is "Auburn's defense suck", which if you have watched any AU games since November, you'd know that they really arent that bad. They are a bend but dont break defense that makes stops when it needs to. They have multiple players that very possibly could be starting in the league one day.

If I were FSU I'd rather play AU now than in a month. Playing GA, Bama and then the SEC East Champ in pretty much a row absolutely has to take something of you as a player. Plus, the "underdog" always benefits from more practice.
