I also like how the trendy think going is saying he'll have a bad year.
He only got better and better as the season went on. Even when OU had a month to prepare and Manziel was in full blown media tour.
By all accounts (Sunlin, Whitfield, & Herbstreit) he is putting in all the work it takes to improve with another year in the S&C program.

Bad year? Of course not. Dude is a freak.
Not as good as last year? I think this is likely. Lost important pieces on offense and defense and teams will be way more ready for the kid. Tough to top last year as well, so he hurt himself in that way

Thats what happens when you have an unlikable person...people come out and suggest the worst.
And he's plenty unlikeable.
So he'll be another in a long list of players who have drawn the 'he's heading for regression' rehtoric from the media.

It's not a matter of "trendy." We don't do "trendy" around here. We do motivated baiting and ranting, but it has nothing to do with "trendy."
Besides, as much as I despise Finebaum, he may be right this time. Every squirrel finds a nut eventually.
Watching to see how JFF does this year is going to be interesting none-the-less. I'm not pulling for him or against him - I'm just looking forward to watching, as the season progresses, to see what happens.

You have to admit, he's been enjoying himself this off-season, excessively.
In any other arena of sports, that's a recipe for underachievement.
I'd love to see them stick it to Bama again, but given his manic/ADD off-season I'd bet against it.
