Now for the new question, how well will this be able to play lets say...diablo 3? Is this good enough to run on high settings?

Yes. You are WAY WAY WAY beyond what you need for Diablo 3 at Max settings.
You should be able to run any game at 1920 x 1080 with all settings maxed out for the time being.
Also, do not try to overclock that CPU unless you use an aftermarket CPU cooler. The Intel stock cooler is OK if you are not overclocking.
