Yeah we did. And nowhere did I ever state “we are back”.
But we are recruiting again after a 3 year hiatus and that will eventually pay dividends

True.

Auburn’s 3-year rolling average in the On3 Team Recruiting Rankings by Year:

2011: #11
2012: #7
2013: #10
2014: #11
2015: #9
2016: #6
2017: #8
2018: #9
2019: #11
2020: #9
2021: #13
2022: #14
2023: #17
2024: #14
2025: #11 (preliminary)

From 2010-2020, Auburn had 11 consecutive seasons of brining in a Top 14 class with an average ranking of #8.

Then in 2021 our recruiting class was ranked #19. It was #16 in 2022. And was #17 in 2023.

Auburn’s team last season was the least talented AU team since probably the late 1990s. There is zero excuse for a program like Auburn not to land a Top 15 class and it should be more often than not a Top 10 class. To go three consecutive seasons without landing a single Top 15 class is horrendous.

But thankfully, in his first full year of recruiting, Freeze was able to land the #8 class and his 2025 class is currently #9 in the rankings.

We’re still probably a year away from getting the level of talent we need, but it’s certainly trending in the right direction.
