Sunbelt has set itself up to be a competitive and sustainable conference over multiple sports and geographically. I'd say they were much more forward looking than a lot of conferences and much more well prepared to navigate the upcoming landscape.

I have a fondness for the SunBelt. It is a very well run conference. They have gained everyone’s respect.

I think the Sunbelt has made great strides in the last decade. Out of all of the G5 conferences they have made the most improvements and I think it will get even better. The American is basically the old CUSA and the MWC can’t make many moves besides bringing in the PAC 12 rejects.

I might be biased with me being a TXST alum but I think TXST can be in contention this year for the G5 playoff spot and that will be a big win for the SBC
