Considering I let go of the rope on a potential reinstatement scenario in 2021, your snark is duly noted, all the same. Hope that makes you feel better.
Could it have worked? Sure. Would it have worked? Possibly.
I've said it repeatedly - when given the choice of being wrong on substance or wrong on timing, I'll happily be wrong on timing if it means getting the substance of the matter right.
We've been in for a full 4 years of this radioactive shitshow on ice of an illegitimate administration. The pause between Trump administrations has been a necessary evil. The number of Americans who have woken up to the uniparty con since the Biden fauxministation have been in charge is infinitely more effective than if they had exposed the 2020 election fraud and Trump's 2nd term had chugged along uninterrupted.
The trust deficit between the American people and Congress, the media, the White House, and even each state's own election integrity are at all time lows. Everyone's precipice is different.
Some folks are waking up to the hypocrisy between writing a blank check to Ukraine and forcing Israel to deal with Hamas on their own. Rolling out the red carpet for illegal aliens while our veterans are literally sleeping in the street. Prosecuting J6 political prisoners while the "mostly peaceful" riots of various flavors go unpunished.
It all adds up, and the cumulative effect has been massive.
