So... if the current HC wins one, will he bolt for greener pastures or get fired in 2-4 years?

Either way it would be title #5 for LSU, which is more success than the majority of college football. Most coaches don’t win one at all. A very small number of coaches win more than one. Coaches like Saban are an anomaly and such an outlier, it’s not worth using as a metric to a program’s success.
