I think I've only purchased one new phone in my lifetime. They've all been purchased used. I primarily use Swappa, but eBay also.
On Swappa, I believe each listing lists battery health.

same with me; i think the last 'new' phone i bought was either the pixel 4 or pixel 5. i dont feel like taking the 'hit' for outrageous introductory pricing on new models when you can go 1-2 gens back and get it for 1/4 the price or even less.
i'm always a few phones behind but no one has complained and ive bought ALOT over the years with myself, 4 kids and a wife.
my grown daughter hasn't upgraded in YEARS and i honestly just felt bad for her when she visited me and i saw how old and beat up her phone was.
she just moved back closer to me and is visiting more often now. and in addition to always topping her gas off when she leaves, the least i can do is get her new(er) phone. she's going to be on cloud 9 to get an iphone 14.
