What do you do with Hurd moving forward?

Tell him to go back to LA. He is wasting a scholarship at this point.

Baseball can be so mental. Dude is pressing.

Send him to Little’s optometrist.

Tell him tulane is looking.

Same thing we are doing now. They aren’t relying on Hurd. They are only using him when we are out of options. It’s the same for most of the guys that are pitching in game 3’s. Our bullpen isn’t that deep or consistent, at some point we have to use guys like Hurd

His body language is quite telling. He looks disappointed in himself, not angry. ZERO self-confidence. Idk what you do with that. Feel for the guy though

Let’s see if he can get his shite straight in summer league play. If he can’t you move on.

He’s to this year’s team what Christian Little was last year. He just can’t be relied upon.

Don’t put him in any high leverage situations anytime soon. But he needs to figure it out if we have any hope of making a deep postseason run. He’s super talented and could be a huge part of the pitching staff if he starts pitching like he did down the stretch last year.
