Heya- some folks and I are planning a trip to your beautiful KY in the summer. We know we want to hit some distilleries Buffalo Trace if possible and maybe others.

Tell me your thoughts on where and what to do, please and thank you.

Bourbon trail maybe? I live 5 miles from Buffalo Trace. Lots of beautiful horse farms around. Kentucky horse park is nearby.

I would suggest posting this also on the travel board. More will see it there.

And don't bring pio.

Edit: lots of state parks with hiking, caving, etc. Louisville has 4th street live, Ali museum and BluegrassBelle.

Had some friends that toured Makers Mark. Found a link to some of the distillery tours. Some of them are expensive.

Kentucky is beautiful in the spring and fall

Summer (humid) and Winter (cold wet slush) both suck

Go to Harlan County and drive up a random holler. Let me know how it works out.
