Kentucky is fricked in NIL era.

I said this months ago. Kentucky is toast in the NIL era. Down the road, Kentucky will no longer be considered a top 20 all-time program. They are irrelevant going forward. Think Billy Gillespie 2.0 plus ALL of the other SEC teams have better talent to boot. Arkansas is willing to spend double on players and NIL in bball which Kentucky puts all their eggs in that basket. I wager Arkansas makes the NCAA tourney next year and Kentucky does not. Bank on it.

What has Cal done with top classes and portal guys at UK in the last 9 or 10 years? He has underperformed in a big way. So big NIL money is suddenly going to make him a better coach?

All div 1 college sports is “fricked” now because of NIL and the portal. It’s a pro league now, College sports only truly survives at the small college and Div III levels now. Div 1 is a combination of the NBA and pro wrestling now.
