Single qb systems with a clear starter who is proven and a clear backup who isn’t.

Kind of like almost every team.

Should be easy for you to find 20+ rather quickly.

And what exactly does this criteria have to do with your claim that Saban wouldn't have benched Hurts for Tua in the regular season?

Do you understand that when you say "proven" QB, you are only talking about what you can visually see, not what the coaches see and know? Do you think Tua hadn't proven himself to Saban in general or that Saban and other coaches are looking at things like "Well, he finished 5th in the Heisman last year"?

Your criteria makes no sense outside you moving the goalposts to avoid the topic. Meanwhile you offer absolutely NOTHING on the other side and I'm not giving you criteria at all.

All so you can pretend Georgia could have beat Alabama in 2017?

You need help. I'm done with this crap, this discussion is just dumb and you just keep moving the goal posts.

Most coaches dont have the guts to do it. its a big deal to bench the established starter for an unproven player. It often takes desperation that a regular season game doesnt entail.

It all goes hand in hand. Coaches choose their starter based on everything, and they value experience.

Look at his stats to reveal how proven he was in a real game. There is a reason the starter is the only QB getting legit snaps, and leaving garbage time to the backup.

A coach would be much more likely to play the backup when the backup is proven to be elite vs unproven. Surely you understand this.

You failed to explain where the goal posts started and where I moved them to because they havent moved at all. It was always about situations similar to Bama 2017.

Problem is, You dont seem to have a good grasp as to how the QB position works for most teams, which is a clear cut starter and a clear cut backup. You dont seem to understand the 2 Qb system either, which involves 2 qbs getting legit snaps.

For your request, the criteria involves a VERY small sample size, so the list is naturally going to be very small, and my list was one coach long: Saban. I claimed a small list, and provided a small one.

For my request, the sample size is HUGE, yet you can NOT find a single example of a similar situation as Bama, which is exactly why you wanted this discussion to end already. You claimed a list of MANY, you provided a list of ZERO.
