What part of this do you not understand?

You claimed that it was made easier by the fact it was a big game. But you only have 1 single example of it.

Proven multi year starting qbs do NOT get benched often.

It takes a LOT for a coach to make a move that harsh. Thats why it is so rare. Thats why he didn’t do it against AU after that terrible first half performance. Thats why he did it against UGA after that terrible first half performance.

He did it to win the football game. As I already pointed out about Auburn, the score was 10-7 at halftime, that is why he wasn't pulled.

And this all came from you wanting to pretend Georgia would have beat Alabama in the regular season if they played then instead of the NCG. And I'm not even sure why you think you would have the same gameplan at that point.

According to you, it is normal, it happens often, every year, every conference, so let’s see your long list of proven, multi year starting qbs getting yanked at halftime of a regular season game.

I can’t wait to be underwhelmed with your list.

Ok, are you admitting that the reason you aren't coming up with a list is because there are no examples to give?

Sure, I'll take your challenge.

In 2018, Bryant was benched for Trevor Lawrence in the 4th game of the year. Bryant ended up transferring out. You may remember Lawrence goes on to win the NC.

In 2015, Cardale Jones finished 2014 as the starter for Ohio St winning the National Championship. He was benched for JT Barrett against Northern Illinois after throwing 2 interceptions. Ohio St squeaked out a win thanks to their defense.

Then in 2017, JT Barrett was benched against Iowa after throwing a bunch of Interceptions, replaced by Dewayne Haskins. Iowa blew Ohio St out big time.

In 2008-2010, Tyrod Taylor was benched multiple times in games. I could probably make a list of just that.

Would you like me to go on?

Are you sure I used the word “easier”? Because I don’t remember doing so.

From the start, I said the magnitude of the situation made saban more desperate, which made the change more likely.

As far as we know, no other coach has had a similar set of circumstances, so the list is naturally going to be very short.

Safe to assume 4 q’s of 2017 hurts wasn’t good enough to beat a team as good as uga 2017. No special game plan was gonna change that.

Unlike bama, Clemson used a 2 qb system, and let the winner become the starter, which puts this example on a different list. 0/1.

The backup was a proven heisman contender, which means he was more proven than cardale, so this also belongs on a different list. 0/2.

This didn’t happen. No other Ohio state qb threw a pass in this game. 0/3.

Well, it didn’t happen in 2009 or 2010, and they used a 2 qb system in 2008. 0/4.

We might be here all off season before you can find a legit example……
