Nice try, but I don’t need one other example to support my take because…..

1. Coach's dont like to bench proven qbs.
2. Most coaches don’t have a talented backup qb worthy of replacing a proven starter.
3. Very few teams are in a similar halftime situation of that magnitude.

Saban wouldn’t have done it in a regular season game. Saban wouldn’t have done it if the backup sucked.

Why not? It should happen often in big games according to you. I mean shouldn't you at least be able to find some garbage time cases?

You wouldn't have trouble finding coaches doing it in the regular season for some reason. In fact, the earlier it is in the season, the more likely it's going to happen.
