Yeah but how are we number one for what? 10 weeks straight? and then drop 5 spots for a 3 point loss to the goat?
23 dawgs > Washington and Texas and most likely would have embarrassed Michigan…. Again.

Bad timing to lose a game they absolutely couldn't afford to lose. Who was getting left out? 13-0 Michigan, 13-0 Washington, the 12-1 Alabama team they just lost to, or the 12-1 conference champion Texas who had a win at Alabama?
It was a perfect storm.
