About to start a build on one, and hoping to get some feedback.

It’ll be a Defiance action sitting in an EH1 or LRH

Anybody got experience with either?

You’ll get a little bit better feedback with snipershide or rokslide on this. Probably a few folks here with a manners on a custom action but a lot more there. You’re not gonna go wrong with anything they have if you’ve made the decision to go aftermarket on a stock, they’re top of the line and it gets into Chevy vs ford vs chassis.

I do not have one but manners are some of the best made.

ETA: if you look on snipers hide you may be able to find a used one if you’d like to save a little. Manners hold their value very well though.
And before you buy, make sure you have the correct bottom metal.

I've Manners and McMillan fiberglass stocks, never had one of their carbon fiber stocks though. I went to a chassis, but if a lefty Manners/McMillan ever go up for sale, I'd definitely consider going back.

The stocks are top notch. There is a guy selling some brand new lrh I believe. He's on longrangehunting for sure, I believe snipershide as well.

Which defiance action are you going to use?

I’ve owned 7-8 Manners stocks and still have one - carbon fiber PRS1. Tom makes a very nice stock that feels great ergonomically. Only draw back is lead time for a custom order. Delivery is close to a year. If you’re not picky about color combinations and various finishes, you can find a used stock, or new stock at various retailers / websites with no wait.

Manners got stupid busy because of 2 reasons. Kelblys quit making rifle socks, and McMillan sold out to a greedy new owner that increased stock prices by 40%. The normally priced $599 custom built hunting stock will cost you $850. Huge disappointment since I’ve owned over 50 McM stocks since 1987. Below are a few of my stocks. Will be glad to answer any questions for the OP or others.

I got a LRH last year for a defiance ruckus and love it. I messaged a guy from a forum and he had one even though his site showed out of stock. Mountic Outdoors

Bump … J , tried sending you an email and cell phone text messages. Not sure they went through. Update: I found you a Manners EH1 stock, custom action, and PROOF barrel priced right. Email me and I’ll give you the 411 on all the details and prices
