It has been a few years but I used to travel to Memphis a few times a year for a week at the time to help with a warehouse inventory during the day. At night we would go out to eat, maybe hit Beale Street, or go down to Tunica.
I have to say, I always enjoyed it back then.
I probably would not as much today since I have gotten older.
I never really felt much danger.
It is most likely like any city ....just turn down the wrong road and shite changes fast. Somehow we avoided that for about 20 trips to Memphis.
I actually like their airport. Outside FedEx doing their late night shite it is pretty serene and fairly clean....better than Atlanta.
