Do the TV surround lights add to your TV watching experience? I might have to consider some if they make it better.

A friend of mine has this and loves it, but you have to watch in a darker environment to get the overall effect.

Like OKR said, basically what it does is match the color of the edges of the screen, and after a while your brain sort of "fuzzes" the boundary of the TV in your peripheral vision to give you a larger and more immersive image.

I think it creates more atmosphere to what you are watching.. Excited to watch SEC football games this fall with it. Think it will really add more to it for sports especially with having surround sound.
