So instead of an F he got a D. Congrats.

The 0.06 proves otherwise.
The underage drinking isn't a thing for you, after all that's happened with the UGA athletic department?
So he isn't over the limit, but he's under age and not:
1. Supposed to be drinking
2. Smart enough to call a fricking cab
Also, you should never join the military. When the legal AGE was raised to 21, and the legal limit lowered to .08, COMNAVAIRLANT and COMNAVAIRPAC lowered it to .05 on base.

Then it’s safe to assume dudes a full blown idiot that has zero concern for UGA, just a hired gun cancer that invalidates the tripe that UGA fans believe about Kirby and UGA.
As an aside how many of the hired guns automatically get in trouble at UGA? Didn’t both of the “game changer” WRs get arrest last offseason that Kirby bought?
RaRa was Thomas was protecting his little brother from leaving with his DRUNK GF. Rara is his little bro's legal guardian and charges were dropped. He was being a stand up guy. Apologize now, Nuttchugger

It’s college. Kids are gonna drink. We all did unless you were a nerdy brainiac who was too busy soaking up knowledge instead of bourbon in the library 24/7.
They are going to party and they are going to drink and they’ve don’t give a damn whether us older and now wiser folks like it or not

Not at all. Underage drinking just isnt a big deal if done in moderation, which the 0.06 proves.
After last year, the thing for me is dangerous high speed driving, which got him the reckless charge.

Old Smokey has Georgia on the brain. It’s hard not to, considering how Georgia totally humiliates his “mighty” Vols year after year after year.

he blew under .08 but because he's not 21, he catches the lesser DUI charge anyway.
So he did blow over the legal limit for his age

Yes, but the age is largely irrelevant in a discussion about level of inebriation

The only school that probably parties as much as UGA is LSU. I’ve seen more than a few drunk LSU kids who looked to be about 17 staggering around in BR and in Athens. The only difference is that Athens makes arrests and BR doesn’t.

You couldn't be more wrong about the last part.

I wonder how many cases end up like this? I wonder how many cases end up like this involving college athletes

Yes

The original outrage came from the assumption the dude was wasted.
He wasn’t. Turns out that Outrage was not justified.

Actually it was that once again a UGA player was driving recklessly around Athens. At what point does Kirby make an example of these idiots? Didn’t killing 2 folks because they were racing around after a night of drinking raise enough awareness and issues for UGA that Kirby could put his foot down? How many arrests for this is this since the senseless deaths? How many will it take to get someone to care?
That fact that 2 years later this is still an issue in Athens is why it’s a story. Individually kids do stupid stuff but collectively this is unacceptable.

That is not what it means. He could have been charged with "less safe" because he refused to take a breath or blood test or because he was under a combination of alcohol and drugs
Posted on 4/1/24 at 8:41 pm to CaptainCrash
or if a blood test shows alcohol + drugs

Don’t know anything about this story.
Just hiding in here from 17 women’s basketball threads.

he only thing he did to break the law was drink underage.
Couple of other things he did (1) drive a car after drinking and (2) drive that car at 85-90 mph

You obviously know absolutely zero about Clarke county/UGA cops. They do shite just because they’re shite.
