They keep showing Apocalypse in the intro. Can't remember if that is a scene from the old show or not, but either way, seems like he will be introduced at some point.

Rumors that they might be heading into AoA. Wolverine and the X-Men was going to do that several years ago. I'm all for it.

I think we'll see in the finale that Sinister has been working for/ with Apocalypse.
