No. Did the voices in your head say this?

Your entire fanbase said this based on his Covid year.

Full of shite. Gumps were saying he'd be better than Tua and Hurts.

He’ll start a few 2024 & 2025 preseason games before he’s out of the league.

I think Jax got Mac Jones because they're about tired of Trevor Lawrence's bullshite and going to bench him if he's missing wide open receivers by a mile like the second half of 2023.

I don't see how they view Mac as someone that could do better. If I'm the Jags I'd work with Lawrence as much as possible to correct those issues. I wouldn't be counting on Mac to do any better than Trevor.

I think that is their plan. Mac is there to put some pressure on T-Law because frankly they've had about equivalent careers. But Lawrence has played with much better overall talent.

People dramatically underestimate that Mac only had a functional OL his first season and he never had a quality WR group. Hell, last year their "get Mac some help" plan was to bring in Devante Parker who has been one of the worst receivers at getting separation in the league this decade.

Bill Belichick ran that offensive roster into the ground and was sniffing his own farts if he thought he was going to take a young QB then give him some of the chickenshit he handed Brady in the 2010s and it would work out.

Mac Jones is and never was that gifted..... Trevor Lawrence with all of that BS hype has only been meh at best..... The only true franchise generational QB's who have come out in the last 5 years are Joe Burrow and CJ Stroud. Both of them IMO are destined for the HOF.

Who? I know Stroud started and won a playoff game, but I can't remember the last time I saw the other guy. Seems like he's always hurting his pinky finger or something.

Maybe they never said “Tom Brady?”

More like Wayne Brady?

Well, for $12 you could buy Mac Jones' card and write your name on it.
