No way a state school gets dumped and I also doubt Vanderbilt or Northwestern gets dumped. The only way it might happen is if both P2 leagues disband and rebrand themselves under new names.

Some say make them quit but Does anyone think Seewanee or Georgia Tech would leave the SEC today with the money as big as it is? How about Chicago U leaving the B1G? No one is leaving that money on the table. So we all might as well learn to get along and enjoy some Big time college football.

It would not surprise me if these stories were planted by the ACC or Big 12.

The more changes they keep doing like this, the more it just ruins CFB. Dropping teams like Northwestern for Rutgers is pathetic.

That’s awesome. I’m glad Ohio State is safe.

At present, I don't believe the "they'll never do.." line.

it won't be framed as "dumping," it will be "not making the cut" for the NCFL.

I agree but I believe NW is safe.

I see more teams being added. Az, Co, NC, Va, Clem, FSU will make it.

This bullshite topic never ceases to be a Herod's Crotch topic .... may it infect all who continue to push this time-wasting narrative.

No way? Where have you been the last ten years? College sports have sold their soul for $$$. You think they suddenly got ethics and a backbone?

So do you think the bluebloods are only going to play each other? That would get old quickly. It is going to take at least 20 in each league.

Maybe, but perhaps not the same 20.

I hope so because it’s a really stupid idea. The big name teams also need “tour stops“ just like the pro teams do. They’re very few true Atlanta Falcons fans, but when the Steelers or the Packers or the Cowboys come into town, they pack that place no matter how bad the Falcons suck.

Big time college football? You are nuts! This isn't college football, it is Minor League NFL. These kids don't represent the school, they represent only themselves. Only a fool would get behind this fake shite. I'm not supporting it. These players aren't even students.

After watching the complete implosion, seemingly overnight, of a historic conference like the Pac 12, nothing would surprise me. This is driven by money and football. History, tradition, etal, be damned.
