My crusty old negative arse was thinking 0-4... 1-3 at the best.
Great job with our pitching/bats to go 2-2 vs #1 & #5 , any SEC team would take that mid season.
If game 2 vs aTm was a 4-3 game the whole vibe would be different. .. .
Not an Omaha team but trending up a lil'...

Proof of concept and momentum is the season-long goal here. Theres enough talent in the state, they just need a reason to come to Athens. Omaha in year 1 isn’t necessary, just being in the convo is enough. The attention Charlie is bringing doesn’t hurt either
