During World War II, Texas A&M produced 20,229 Aggies who served in combat. Of those, 14,123 Aggies served as officers: more than the combined total of the United States Naval Academy and the United States Military Academy.[17]

Yes. Very fake indeed..

It's weird that yall always bring this up like no other schools had students go on to fight

quote:

During World War II, LSU was one of the top four schools producing officers for the U.S. Armed Forces. (The other schools were Texas A&M, West Point, and Annapolis). LSU had more than 5,000 former students serving as officers, including 16 who achieved the rank of Brigadier General or higher. In all, 12,000 individuals from LSU served, and over 500 died in this great conflict.

I guess you have to lean on something that happened 80 years ago to justify your military dress up traditions today

Aggies don't have shite on the "University Greys" from Mississippi. Our entire student body joined the Confederacy to fight for the South. Those boys advanced farther into enemy territory in Gettysburg than any other regiment of the Confederacy.

True warriors and Rebels to the end. God Bless their souls.
