Sincerely
I know your fake military group gets made fun of a ton on here.

About 7 minutes in the speaker talks about how Texas A&M is sending resources over to train civilians.
You will always be the big brother to Texas in my eyes

During World War II, Texas A&M produced 20,229 Aggies who served in combat. Of those, 14,123 Aggies served as officers: more than the combined total of the United States Naval Academy and the United States Military Academy.[17]
Yes. Very fake indeed..

It's weird that yall always bring this up like no other schools had students go on to fight
I guess you have to lean on something that happened 80 years ago to justify your military dress up traditions today
quote:
During World War II, LSU was one of the top four schools producing officers for the U.S. Armed Forces. (The other schools were Texas A&M, West Point, and Annapolis). LSU had more than 5,000 former students serving as officers, including 16 who achieved the rank of Brigadier General or higher. In all, 12,000 individuals from LSU served, and over 500 died in this great conflict.

It’s always cringe. Especially when you realize the aggie fans screaming it the loudest for affirmation on an anonymous message board are the same people that never served themselves

Bro is on here all day talking the dumbest shite and has the audacity to say "It's always cringe".

So far, I can confidently say that nobody bothered to listen to any part of the video. It’s just Aggies taking offense and other fanbases trying to offend them

This doesn’t sound like it bas anything to do with the corps of cadets. This is about first responders. This is probably through Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services (TEEX). There is a 50+ acre “disaster city” where first responders are trained.

If they're not actually in the United States Armed Services then it is in fact, fake.
I have noted your ignorance.

This is a post 9/11 thing. One of the A&M Engineering profs was part of an Urban Search and Rescue team that was dispatched by FEMA to Ground Zero in the wake of the Twin Towers falling to help with the recovery effort.
Given how unprepared everyone was that day and the scale of destruction and the general funding environment for anti-terrorism measures in that era, the group built out Disaster City to train folks from all over the country in new reponse techniques.

Dude nobody said anything bad about LSU.

No other schools in the country including thr military academies did to the extent Texas A&am. No other SEC schools contributed a fraction of officers that A&M commissioned . University of Texas didn’t commission a single officer durung WWII. Make fun of our sports teams, our beliefs if you will…but little ignorant pieces of shite like you, will not slander the deaths and service of tens of thousands of Aggies. Or the thousands presently serving.
