You're right, but how is that going to help the man dealing with his wife going apoplectic about how the kids iPads don't work on the bus?

My generation did not grow up with electronic devices, yet we help fuel the growth of America.

#1 Educators that beat us (nuns, teachers, coaches, and principles)
#2 Schools that taught us to think, not just pacify us to babysit
#3 Parents were active in developing out mind and body
#4 Relatives held more sway than social media
#5 Homes were part of communities, not cocoons for electronic isolationism

I was fortunate that I grew up up in Department of Defense Schools. I'm only partially slow.

What I read from you, that you don't see, is:
1)You were taught to kneel on uncooked rice as punishment. Thanks, nuns.
2) LOL. Must have gone to school before the mid 60s.
3) LOL. You have got to be kidding.
4) N/A, social media didn't exist, but the cousin in your county still got pregnant, so you'll be fine
5) Electronic cocoons are created or allowed by parents.
