So is hot bowl of oatmeal a soup or cereal ? 
Guess I never had a catagory for it kind of like a hotdog or a burger.

They took the comforting man in the chefs hat off the box.
When I was a kid, the visual is what heightend the anticipation of what was for breakfast.
Cream of Wheat + melted churned butter from our farm + neighbors honey = Goooooood Eatin!
