re: UGA to launch new School of Medicine

They currently send med students here there and everywhere. It’s real half assed just cobbling together clinical experiences. Students should be learning mainly from housestaff but outside of the major teaching centers (atl,aug, mac, sav) there is really only internal medicine so it will probably be half assed for the foreseeable future. But you gotta start somewhere. It’s exciting and well overdue. The political contingent in Augusta has jealously guarded their monopoly on public med student education. (MCG 94 btw)
