How do you go from "we never bought anyone" to "none of our players have NIL deals?"

Are all LSU fans this dense?

So, just to be clear: you think that every player on the LSU roster with an NIL deal is a player that "LSU bought?"

Does A&M advance money in exchange for a percentage of future NFL earnings?

It sounds like something their NIL agents would conjure up.

I doubt it. More likely that Walt is mad because his transfer cost him some money in an NIL contract, and he didn't know that was going to happen.

Before they get to campus, yes, they are all bought through the guise of NIL. It's all pay for play at every school recruiting top flight talent. We're not naive like y'all to think it's anything else.

Got it.

LSU bought every player on their roster. Spread the word.

Anyway someone can DM him and ask him to white out the monetary amount so we can read what one of the NIL contracts says.

I’m dead serious.

I’m curious as hell.

I'm surprised some of them haven't already leaked.

Texas a&m is swindling recruits to come to their school that they would otherwise have no shot of landing on the recruiting trail? SHOCKING

I know right. Everything gets leaked at some point.

Just white out the money and SS# and let us see.

uta fans are like Democrats: they accuse their opponents of doing exactly what they are already doing, and have been doing for a good long while.

Only a complete dumbass would not read a contract that binds them to something this serious.

And it's actually genius for A&M boosters to incorporate terms in NIL deals so kids can't play one year and transfer with the entire contract amount. If you are really so gullible to not understand what you committed to then the NFL is going to eat you alive

The PSA should have said the basic common sense of "READ ANY CONTRACT THOROUGHLY BEFORE YOU SIGN!!!!!"

But most folks are probably best served by going to a practicing attorney with experience in contract negotiation rather than hit up Walt's posse.

"Any dispute arising out of this contract will be governed by Qatarien law."

He is not going to do that. It will breed mistrust when he shops himself and transfers to a new school next year.

Except Texas has always recruited well. Maybe because it's a superior academic institution not located in a cow town that hasn't seen its team win a conference title in any of the recruits' lives?

NIL is a contributing factor for Texas' recruiting pitch.

It is the ONLY factor for Texas A&M's recruiting pitch. That and pitching an all-male cheerleading troupe, ig

Oh look, someone from the late 1970s just climbed out of the time machine, signed up on SEC Rant, and started jawboning.

Jimbo and their fans said they didn't do NIL.

Right , Jimbo saw that money as just gifts
from the goodness of the A&M hearts , a type of
charity.
