Notice that we started to heat up offensively in game 2 when we took Wagner, Rowland, and Wilmsmeyer out of the lineup.
Holt needs to be our everyday CF, and Wilmsmeyer only needs to be a late inning defensive substitution.
We need to sit Diggs and give Edmunson and/or Lovich some PT in RF. Diggs is flashing some leather in the field, but he’s an automatic out at the plate and just doesn’t look right or healthy at the moment.
Helfrick needs to be our catcher when White is getting rest. He hits the ball extremely hard and has matured defensively this year.
If we can address some of our automatic outs we’ll be fine.

Tell that to DVH. I'm usually throwing my hands up in disgust when I see the lineup card he turns in game after game. He's so mule headed.
We need offense. That's where we are weak. We have plenty of guy capable of playing on defense and doing a good job. Thing is, those guys would give us much more offense. Wilmsmeyer and Diggs need to ride the pine. That means we will have two other guys in the lineup that's capable of hitting the ball at a higher clip than both of them.
DVH won't do it, and I don't know why.
