I would think even the biggest Ole Miss homer should at least be self aware enough to understand that Kiffin would be in Tuscaloosa right now if the job had been offered.

Why would he go there and deal with those expectations when he can work on stealing their players and surpassing them in a Sabanless era?

Why do so many of you all act as if you know Kiffin? I don't know him but I don't act as if I do. Lane already replaced a legend in Pete Carroll. Lane is in his late 40s but in coaching years he's like 90. Lane is building Ole Miss into something special. He doesn't need Bama. If Ole Miss keeps spending money like it is, in the NIL/portal era, Lane will make Ole Miss into a national championship contender.
