I never knew that they wanted the stadium built at the Fairgrounds.
I used to go to Jackson for work regularly. Went to Jackson about a year ago for the first time in years and I couldn't believe how much worse it had gotten even in the last 6-7 years.
Is the old Jackson Mets/Generals stadium still there off of Lakeland?
Columbus isn't great, but it isn't a shithole like Macon or Jackson.

Jackson was ok in the 90s and earlier.
Smith-Wills stadium is still there. I believe Belhaven uses it.
