I have been against his hiring and any talk about hiring him. Recently I listened to a bunch of in depth recruiting coverage people, and they say he has 5 stars actually considering SMU. Is it the money? They say if he was on a p5 he could probably land a top 10 class. I have been ardently opposed to him, mostly/completely because of Gus.

All the ground work is being set for him to be our next coach. How disappointed would you be in this hire?

Not hiring a good coach because he has a connection to somebody we didnt like would be the most Arkansas thing ever.

Honestly I'm waiting to see how they do in the ACC. Success there and im all for hiring him.

SMU boosters are loading the bank accounts of recruits.

SMU is P5

He will not be the coach at Arkansas.

Lashlee just signed a new, nice, fat contract. SMU is a private school so it isnt publicly released. His annual base is around $5MM/year with incentives and some very large boosters behind him to load the roster.

I feel like we have had a few threads on him since the fan base started wanting Sam gone.
