So if kiffin doesn't win the SEC and/or a natty next year.... will that be as big or a bigger failure than the 2023 aggie's season?

Jimbo had the best recruiting class ever. Our class is really good but it still isn’t the same talent level A&M failed to win with

They will both end in disappointment, a couple of good defensive linemen aren’t going to change the outcome of a season against the elite teams in the conference

There’s a whole lot of games between a 7-5 (5-7 the year before) season and winning the national championship.

Nobody can compete with aggy when it comes to failure. it’s what aggies do.
Also missing from the comparison is I don’t hear Ole miss bragging about what might be.
It could also be said, and I will, Ole Miss isn’t a cult and don’t have queer boy cheerleaders.
Nor do they stay late after losing to practice cheers.
They don’t dunk their senior rings into a pitcher of beer followed by chugging the beer only to call EARL while vomiting it up onto the floor of the Dixie Chicken.
As far as I know Ole Miss hasn’t started squeezing their balls during point after attempts so as to share the team’s pain.
There is no comparison.

Making fun of ole miss for going 10-2 is rich. That gets you in the playoffs next year. If you offer me 10-2 with losses at LSU and home against UGA and a spot in the playoffs guaranteed I’d take it without question.

I think 10, 11 wins and a really good bowl would have most Miss fans happy. I don’t think they’ve ever won 11 in a season, so that should have them pretty jacked.

I don't know why people compare these two scenarios. A&M paid for untested highschool recruits that had never been tested in the SEC. Ole Miss is selecting players that have proven SEC talent. In my opinion they aren't really comparable.

This is kiffin's best recruiting class in ole miss and it's still not in the top 8 in SEC. Go figure
