Can’t blame you for wanting him gone.
This is the kind of angry, coping, lashing out melt that I come to expect from the Rant.
The fact that Kiffin turned you down to come to Ole Miss, and you ended up with a washed up OL position coach as your fifth choice desperation hire. A coach who then destroyed what was left of your program, makes it even more delicious.

It's one player. People leave nowadays, it isn't necessarily a shambles

He probably more so meant y’all losing 4 games and keeping a guy who admitted more than once he literally didn’t know what he was doing qualifies as shambles, rather than one player leaving.
Even though it isn’t just one player

Well, its not necessarily a shambles.
But it does happen to in fact actually be a shambles

He sounds like a quality player and if OM gets him, he'll make us better.
Objectively though, this is another example of the absolute mess "free-agency" has created in CFB. Sooner or later, every school will have to deal with a coaching change or some other chaos in their program and it'll be open season on their roster. Or, like Vandy last year losing a RB---one of their best players---to Kentucky and having him return the next year wearing a different uniform and helping to kick their arse.
Unless there are reasonable reforms, the golden goose will die and CFB along with any notion of fairness/parity will be completely gone. I'd start with; the price for immediate eligibility is that you don't compete against your old team for at least a year.

I believe Sam is 2-2 against ole miss. This year was the biggest win total, 7 points by ole miss, and Sam destroyed you last year.
Glad this gives you warm and fuzzies. Sam may be 2-2 against Lane but Lane has taken Ole Miss to two NY6 bowls in that same timeframe. How many have we made it to?
Which part of Henry Jones Jr's statement of "that program is in shambles" isn't true. Sam has not instilled discipline or fight into our team. Instead he has allowed a culture of quitting or not giving your all, when things don't go your way, to develop.

Pitt's a lame duck.

99% of Hog fans wanted him gone. The Petrino hire was most likely forced on Pittman and was to appease Hog fans because they knew fans weren’t going to fill the stadium next year. Petrino also gets to babysit Pittman.

He's a solid SEC linebacker. Wish he didn't leave.

Hearing an opposing fan, especially an Ole Miss fan, say this just pisses me off even more that our football program has been allowed to fall like this.

Looks like he went public tonight

Not a starter but a good depth piece.

Interesting. You're the first person to say that.

He's not really fast enough. He did have ~70 tackles so thats not bad. Maybe he will start for you but to me he isnt a legit SEC LB starter.
Jaheim Thomas is our best LB, Pooh played more than the real 2nd best LB Antonio Greer, so, there is that.

Giving him too much credit here, that was Chad... After Bert, following Smile Smith. Pittman actually got us competitive again, fwiw. It's not like you beat the crap out of us this season even dude.

Was mentioned as sec coach of the year 2 years ago. Funny how that works.
Everyone but Bama and Georgia are subject to ups and downs for obvious reasons. But there is no patience or forgiveness for the downs.
Welcome to sec football.

Damn. Freshmen all American and honorable mention all SEC and he's the 3rd best Arky LB. Didn't know you were stacked like that.
